These Terms of Service form the contract between you and Command Center Global ("we", "us", "our"), the entity established in the European Union that operates Command Center at commandcenter.global. By creating an account or paying for a subscription you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, don't use the service.
For data-protection details, see our Privacy Policy. The Privacy Policy is part of this agreement by reference.
Command Center is a real-time intelligence dashboard. It aggregates publicly available news feeds, applies our own categorisation, threat-level scoring and AI-driven story ranking, and presents the result on a 3D globe with optional voice briefings, alerts, and historical archive access depending on your tier.
We don't host or republish full article text. We display headlines, short summaries, source attribution, and a link back to the original publisher (see Section 6).
You must be at least 16 years old to create an account. You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide and for keeping your password and any OAuth credentials secure. You are responsible for everything that happens under your account.
One person, one account. Sharing accounts is not permitted. You may delete your account at any time from the settings panel; that triggers the deletion process described in our Privacy Policy.
Command Center is offered on three tiers — Free, Pro ($9/month or $80/year), and Premium ($29/month or $240/year). Anonymous visitors get the live globe and 24- hour news feed without an account. The full feature comparison is on our pricing page.
Paid subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. Cancellation can be done any time from the Customer Portal link in your account settings; you keep paid features until the end of the current billing period, then drop back to Free. Payments are processed by Stripe — we never see your card details.
Refunds. EU consumers ordinarily have a 14-day cooling-off period for distance contracts under Directive 2011/83/EU. Because Command Center is a digital service that begins delivery immediately upon subscription (briefings, alerts, and archive access become available within seconds), and you confirm at checkout that you want us to start providing it right away, the cooling-off right is waived as permitted by Article 16(a) of that Directive.
We don't issue cash refunds for paid subscriptions. You can cancel at any time from the Customer Portal in your account settings — recurring charges stop, you keep paid features until the end of the period you've already paid for, and your account drops back to Free once that period ends.
If something is genuinely wrong on our side — a billing error, an account compromise, or a service outage that materially affected your use — email [email protected] and we'll review the situation at our discretion.
Prices may change. We will notify active subscribers at least 30 days before any price increase takes effect, and the old price applies until your next renewal after that notice.
Use Command Center for its intended purpose — consuming news intelligence. You agree not to:
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate this section. For minor or accidental breaches we'll usually warn you first; for serious or repeated breaches we reserve the right to act immediately.
Command Center displays headlines and short summaries from publicly available RSS feeds — including BBC, Reuters (via Google News), The Guardian, Al Jazeera, The New York Times, the Associated Press (via Google News), and others. For every article we always show: the publisher's name as attribution, the original publication date, and a direct link back to the publisher's page.
Under EU Copyright Directive Article 15 (the press publishers' right), the use of "very short extracts" of press publications, hyperlinks, and individual words is exempt from the publishers' neighbouring right. Our displayed snippets are kept within that scope. The article content itself remains the property of its respective publisher.
What is ours: the dashboard, the 3D globe visualisation, the voice briefings, the threat-level scoring, the AI-driven story ranking, the categorisation, and any other derived intelligence. Our paid tiers licence access to that derived layer — not to the underlying article text.
We make no claim over, and grant no licence to, the original article content. If you are a publisher and believe we have exceeded the "very short extract" allowance for any item, email [email protected] and we will remove or shorten the entry promptly.
Voice briefings and our story ranking use AI models (currently Claude Haiku via OpenRouter for ranking; ElevenLabs for voice synthesis). AI output can be inaccurate, miss context, or pronounce names oddly. Briefings are a convenience layer — for any decision that matters, read the original article via the provided link.
Command Center is not a primary news source, an emergency-alerting service, or a decision-support tool for safety-critical contexts. Don't rely on it as the sole input to time-sensitive or high-stakes decisions.
You own your account data — your name, handle, saved filters, notification rules. We hold it for you under the terms of our Privacy Policy. Deleting your account triggers deletion of that data within 30 days, with the tax-record exception described in the Privacy Policy.
You grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to process the content you submit (filter rules, display name) only for the purposes of providing the service. That licence ends when you delete the content or your account.
We aim to keep the service available, but we don't guarantee specific uptime. Maintenance windows, third-party outages (Cloudflare, Railway, Supabase, ElevenLabs, OpenRouter), and unexpected incidents can cause interruptions. We don't credit, refund, or extend subscriptions for short outages — only for sustained outages over 24 hours, on a case-by-case basis.
Command Center is provided "as is" and "as available". We make no warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy of news content, or non-infringement, beyond what is required by mandatory consumer-protection law.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability to you for any claim arising from or related to the service is capped at the greater of (a) the amount you have paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or (b) €50. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability for fraud, gross negligence, or any liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law (notably the rights of EU consumers under their national laws).
You can stop using the service or delete your account any time. We can suspend or terminate access if you violate these terms, if required by law, or if continuing to provide the service to you would expose us to disproportionate risk. Termination doesn't affect rights or obligations that have already accrued.
This agreement is governed by the law of the EU member state where we are established, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. EU consumers retain the protections of the law of their country of residence — these terms do not override mandatory consumer-protection rules where you live.
Disputes will be resolved in the competent courts of the EU member state where we are established, subject to any mandatory consumer-protection forum rules in your country of residence. EU consumers may also use the European Commission's Online Dispute Resolution platform at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.
We will update these terms when our practices, pricing, or legal context changes. Material changes are notified to active subscribers via email, and a banner appears on the dashboard for at least 30 days. Continued use after the effective date means you accept the new terms; if you don't, cancel before the effective date.
